About Me
I’ve spent more than 20 years doing the work most people only talk about: fixing what’s broken, building what’s missing, and helping businesses figure out how to grow without losing control of their finances along the way. My background spans legal operations, real estate investment, small business ownership, and startup consulting, and what ties it all together is a simple belief. Every business, no matter the industry, runs better when someone is watching the numbers, the people, and the systems at the same time.
That belief was put to the test when I stepped into an established law firm that had gone stagnant, operating at a deficit with outdated systems and no clear path forward. In under two years, I led a full operational turnaround: redesigned workflows, tightened financial oversight, modernized technology, and rebuilt the marketing approach. Revenue grew from under $700,000 to nearly $1.8 million, the firm moved into a newly renovated downtown office nearly double its previous size, and it’s been profitable ever since. I’ve also co-founded a plumbing and drain company from scratch, helped launch a nationwide safety training business, and built a property management company that’s still serving clients today. I know what it takes to get a business off the ground because I’ve done it more than once.
Twenty-plus years of hands-on CFO and COO work has taught me that good advice means nothing without execution. I’m the person who rolls up her sleeves in QuickBooks, CRM’s and other tech products, sits in on the hard conversations, and stays until the systems actually work. Whether that means restructuring a budget, negotiating a vendor contract, or building the KPI dashboard that finally tells you what’s really happening in your business, I bring the same hands-on approach every time.
Outside of client work, I serve as an Ambassador for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, spent two years as president of my neighborhood HOA, and hosted a local legal news show on WHNT Channel 19. I stay connected to this community because relationships are where good business actually happens.
If you’re launching something new, wrestling with profitability, or simply need someone who can look at your operations and tell you the truth, I’d like to be that partner for you. I’ve been in the deficit. I’ve built the turnaround. I’m ready to help you do the same.
